Progress Test

ProgressTest S2 2014_1aOne of the most important competence the students should have is academic English. So, it is very important to monitor their progress in acquiring academic English proficiency time to time. On Sunday morning, 16 February 2014, we tested our students’ academic English as a part of monitoring their progress.

The test was held at Aula FKIP Untan and taken by most of our students. Based on the test result we advised the students about how they follow up their scores. It is our standard that the students’ academic English should be higher than 500 in paper-based TOEFL score before they apply for viva.

Our first colloquium was held in 2013. The Dean of FKIP-Untan, DR. Aswandi, delivered an opening speech and motivated the students to produce high quality thesis. He also mentioned that our study program is the best post-graduate study program at FKIP-Untan. I am so happy and grateful that the lecturers of this study program devoted their time to listen to our suggestions and complaints. Plus, the lecturers always provoke us to finish our study on time without ignoring the quality of our work. Being the part of this study program is really a big pride for me.
