UNIMAS

In 2013 four lectures and 43 students of this study program visited University Malaysia Sarawak (UNIMAS) in Samarahan for an International Colloquium that was held by the Center for Language Studies (CLS) of the university. Three lecturers and six students of this study program did parallel presentation and one lecturer spoke in a plenary panel discussion. Supported by an MoU signed by the Rector of Tanjungpura University and the Vice Chancellor of UNIMAS, this study program is building further collaboration with CLS-UNIMAS, particularly in education, organizing academic event, and publication.
In October 2013 four lecturers and sixteen students will attend International Conference of Language Studies held by CLS-UNIMAS in Kuching and a number of lecturers and students from CLS-UNIMAS will attend ELTeaM 2nd International Conference that is supported by this study program in Pontianak. A lecturer from UNIMAS will be speaking in one of ELTeaM 2nd Conference plenary session and one Untan lecturer will be speaking in a plenary panel discussion.
